Internship applications for the 2017-2018 school year will be accepted through early March 2017.
Counselors are a valuable resource and an integral part of Holden’s staff. The ever-evolving Counseling Program supports, challenges and enriches the lives of the students, their families and the staff. Marriage, Family Therapist Interns have the opportunity to work and learn with a supportive staff and with intriguing, questioning teenagers in an interdisciplinary community which emphasizes personal, social, creative and spiritual growth, as well as academic development.
We offer counseling internships for Marriage and Family Therapist Interns working with high school aged adolescents. MFT interns have the opportunity to provide individual, group and family counseling. In order to facilitate continuity, a feeling of belonging and effective scheduling, we ask counselors to commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week (normally three 8-hour days, although you may not need to be here until 5 each day). Mondays are required for all.
