R & S Counselor Bios

Alex Perrotti is a Marriage and Family Therapy trainee at Holden. He attended Merritt College, Cal State East Bay, and NYU. He has a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies. He is currently working on his MA in Counseling Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies. Alex’s outside interests include sailing, meditation, and chocolate. In addition, he coordinates the Alternatives to Violence Program at Solano State Prison.

Arin Weiss is a Marriage and Family Therapy trainee at Holden. She teaches CREATIVE EXPRESSION and WOMEN’S GROUP. She earned a BA at Prescott College where she created her own degree, ‘Human Potential’, a weaving together of Expressive Arts, Healing Arts and Psychology, exploring both Eastern and Western perspectives. She is beginning her final year of a Master’s degree at the California Institute of Integral Studies, with an emphasis in Somatic (Body) Psychology. She is a lover of the natural world, the untamed and wild within, creative expression of all kinds (especially movement/dance and writing), quiet time to reflect and be still, the internal depths, the far reaches of the imagination, the unseen but felt, growth and discovery.

Rory Jelinski is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern here at Holden and teaches various music classes. She received her BA from Beloit College in Wisconsin in Psychology and Music and her MA from the California Institute of Integral Studies in Counseling Psychology. She is a music enthusiast and has training in guitar, bass guitar, cello and piano.

Sara Ouimette is a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee at Holden and leads various discussion groups. She received her BA in Psychology from Claremont McKenna College, where she studied children with Autism as well as American Indian Psychiatry. She is now a second year Masters in Counseling Psychology student at the California Institute of Integral Studies. Sara practices daily yoga and plans to become a certified instructor once finished with graduate school. She also enjoys hiking, road trips, music festivals, writing short stories, philosophy, film and spending time with friends and her year old niece.

Valeria Harris is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee at Holden. She received her BA in Government and Biology from the College of William and Mary, and is finishing her last year in a Master’s program at the California Institute of Integral Studies, where she studies Integral Counseling Psychology. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance and practices daily. Outside of yoga and school, Valeria is a food enthusiast, sometime meditator, wanderlust indulger, energy worker, and perpetually interested in the present moment.
