Holden High's Summer Programs

Support your teen’s success this summer with engaging programs for grades 9–12 on our beautiful Orinda campus!

Holden offers flexible options including credit recovery to help our students catch up or stay on track for graduation, a social skills program open to all teens to build confidence and communication, or a combined experience for well-rounded growth.

Designed for East Bay high school students or fresh graduates, our supportive environment helps teens strengthen academic performance while developing real-world skills that last beyond the classroom.

Social Connections

Evidence Based Group Curricula Conflict Resolution & Friendship Interpersonal Skills & Strategies

2 Week Evidence Based Program

Increase confidence in social interactions with peers via a small group setting. Topics include making and maintaining friendships, the ins and outs of conversations, electronic communication, social conflict.

A PEERs certified provider will tailor topics to student needs. Program includes outings, games, and activities in an affirming environment for all teens.

Social Connections is available to all current 9-12 graders as well as summer graduates.

Credit Recovery

Correct Previous Semester Shortfalls Make-up Graduation Requirements Add Additional Credit to Transcript

Flexible Credit Completion

Students can earn up to 1 credit per session with two possible sessions to make-up credit shortfalls or work towards earlier graduation.

All academic levels are supported with individualized work requirements created by your student's teacher.

Program includes breaks and 1-1 work completion support by a credentialed Learning Specialist.

Credit Recovery is only available to Holden students

Credit Recovery & Social Connections

This program option includes one week of Credit Recovery & both weeks of Social Connections.

Families can separately schedule into the second session of Credit Recovery for an additional fee.
