You may be able to double – even triple! – your donation to Holden. Many employers sponsor matching gift programs to match charitable contributions made by their employees. Gifts from retirees and spouses may also qualify for a match.
Car donations are an easy way to support Holden. You’ll receive a tax-deduction, often at a higher value than if you traded in your car to the dealer, and Holden gets additional funds for our programs. Email Office@holdenhigh.org or call (925)254-0199 to get started!
Gifts of stocks or bonds offer two tax advantages to many donors. First, you avoid paying capital gains tax on the appreciation by contributing appreciated securities held for more than one year. Second, you qualify for a charitable deduction on your income tax based on the value of the securities on the date you make a gift.

Part of the mission of Holden High School is a commitment to a student-centered approach that honors who students are and focuses on their academic, social, emotional, and creative needs. Our Tuition Assistance Program allows us to provide this education to a diverse population of students regardless of a family’s economic circumstances.
Approximately 70% of enrolled students receive tuition assistance, with awards ranging from 5% to 60% of tuition. This assistance is intended as a supplement to family resources and is provided to families who have demonstrated financial need.
